Apprenticeship Awareness Programme Successfully Conducted in Senapati District.
Senapati District, Manipur – 11 March 2026

An Apprenticeship Awareness Programme was successfully conducted on 11 March 2026 at Avant Grade Academy and Bethany Higher Secondary School in Senapati District, Manipur. The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 300 students and teachers, who gathered to learn about apprenticeship opportunities and skill development initiatives available to young learners.

The awareness programme was organised by the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) in association with NE Brothers Ent Pvt. Ltd., Guwahati, with the aim of promoting the importance of apprenticeship training and encouraging students to explore career pathways through skill-based education.

The session was represented by Mr. Miraj Shah Kori, who served as the Resource Person for the programme. During the interactive session, he provided detailed insights into the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) and highlighted how apprenticeship programmes help students gain practical industry experience while continuing their education.

He explained the various benefits of apprenticeship training, including skill development, hands-on learning, improved employability, and opportunities to work with industries across different sectors. He also encouraged students to take advantage of government initiatives aimed at strengthening the workforce and building a skilled nation under the vision of “Kaushal Bharat, Viksit Bharat.”

Students and teachers actively participated in the programme, asking questions and engaging in discussions about career prospects, technical training, and industry exposure. The session helped create awareness about how apprenticeship programmes bridge the gap between academic learning and practical work experience.

The programme concluded with a message encouraging young learners to pursue skill-based opportunities and become part of India’s growing skilled workforce. The organisers expressed appreciation to both schools for their cooperation and active participation in making the event successful.

The successful conduct of the awareness programmes at Avant Grade Academy and Bethany Higher Secondary School marks an important step in spreading knowledge about apprenticeship opportunities among students in Senapati District and empowering them to prepare for future career opportunities.
