Meghalaya Orders Pakistani Nationals to Exit State

In response to escalating tensions following the Pahalgam terror attack, Meghalaya authorities have mandated that all Pakistani nationals—excluding those on Long Term, Diplomatic, or Official Visas—must leave the state and India by April 27, 2025. Those holding Medical Visas have until April 29, while SAARC Visa holders are required to depart by April 26. This directive was issued by V.S. Rathore, Senior Superintendent of Police and Foreigners Regional Registration Officer (FRRO) of Ri Bhoi District.
